How do I buy something?

  1. Browse through our products.
  2. When you see something you would like to purchase, click on the product name to view more about the product.
  3. If you would like to purchase the product, click ‘Add to Basket’.
  4. To proceed to the checkout, click on the basket icon at the top right-hand side of the page. Click on the ‘Checkout’ button.
  5. Create an account OR fill in your shipping and billing addresses. If there is anything you would like us to know when preparing your order, type it into the ‘Order Notes’ box. If you have a coupon code, paste or type it into the coupon box.
  6. Select your payment method and click ‘Place Order’.

If you are still unsure, simply send us an email at or with a list of the products you want to purchase, as well as your name, contact details and shipping/billing address, and we’ll take it from there.

Where are you based and can I come and collect my order?

Mono Online Shop is based in Somerset West (just outside of Cape Town), South Africa but we ship nationwide. You are also welcome to come and collect your order or arrange your own shipping. We will let you know when your order is ready for collection and we will also provide you with the collection address.

How long will I wait for my order?

Although we try our best to have as much stock at hand whenever possible, most of our products are made to order and require a lead time. We try to keep the average lead time per order under 2 weeks but this also depends on the size of your order. Please refer to the table below for approximate lead times:

Please note that the above lead times are only approximate and that the actual lead time will depend on the size of your order, as well as stock availability. If you require your order within a certain amount of time, we recommend that you contact us first to check how long it will take.

Also note that lead times don’t include the time it takes for your order to be shipped. Since we use a courier service for delivery, you can expect your order to reach you within 2 – 3 days (a few days more if you are in an outlying area). If you would like to track your order, just contact us and we will happily supply you with the tracking information.

Can I return a product I'm not happy with?

Absolutely. Here is how you can return it.

Is my information safe with you?

Your information (name, contact details and anything you provide us) is safe. We will never sell your information to any third-party. Since we use PayFast as an online payment gateway, we do not have access to your credit card details. Read our Privacy Policy for more information.

Can I send something as a gift?

Absolutely. We will even wrap it for you free of charge.

How big are your duvet sets and do they include pillow cases?

**If you require different dimensions for your cot size linen, leave us a note with your order with the size of your duvet and pillow case and we will make it according to your specifications.

Do you make custom products?

It depends. We don’t do custom furniture or brand new designs on request, but if you would like one of our products customised to your needs (such as a different size or colour), get in touch and we will do our best to make it happen. Customised products will be quoted separately.
